Job Description

Lexus of Stevens Creek is a distinguished automotive dealership located in Santa Clara, California, and is proudly part of the Penske Motor Group family, a nationally recognized leader in the automotive industry. As the number one new and pre-owned vehicle dealership in Northern California, Lexus of Stevens Creek stands out for offering a vast inventory and exceptional value to its customers. This dealership prioritizes an outstanding guest experience, whether guests are purchasing a new car, a pre-owned vehicle, or having their vehicle serviced by expert technicians. The company culture here emphasizes treating both guests and team members with respect and care, making it not only a leading place to shop but also a rewarding place to work. Lexus of Stevens Creek champions internal growth, offering numerous career opportunities that allow employees to develop and advance into roles such as Service Consultant, Service Technician, or Sales Consultant, among others.

The Car Wash Valet position is essential in crafting the first and last impression guests have when they visit the dealership. This role requires moving vehicles safely, smoothly, and efficiently throughout the service department. Valets are often the face of the dealership and must represent Lexus of Stevens Creek with professionalism, energy, and a positive attitude. This full-time, entry-level position offers a competitive base hourly wage of $20. Valets will gain valuable experience and insights into the automotive industry, supported by a strong team environment that nurtures communication, teamwork, and personal growth. Working onsite entirely at the Lexus of Stevens Creek location, candidates must be eager, well-rounded, and ambitious individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service. The dealership’s culture encourages continuous learning and provides opportunities for advancement within the company.

Other appealing aspects of the role include comprehensive benefits such as weekly pay, vacations accrual for both full-time and part-time employees, and access to vision, dental, and medical care for full-time team members. The dealership also offers rewards such as a referral bonus program, tuition reimbursement, and corporate partner discounts with high-profile brands like GE, Dell, Oakley, Yeti, and Ray-Ban. Employees in this role can look forward to development and career growth opportunities alongside a 401k plan with a generous company match. No prior experience in the automotive industry is necessary, as the dealership is committed to training new hires thoroughly. However, candidates should have a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain a professional appearance. The physical aspects of the job require handling various physical demands including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, working outside in different weather conditions, and being able to operate motor vehicles safely. Overall, this role promises an engaging career start in a supportive and dynamic environment where individuals can build a future in the automotive sector.
