We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate team at the Arlington, Texas location. This full-time role is critical in supporting the Real Estate Counsel and other corporate managers by performing a variety of administrative functions. The Legal Administrative Assistant will help coordinate legal documents related to D.R. Horton’s acquisition, disposition, and ownership of real property. This includes organizing legal paperwork, preparing documentation, composing routine correspondence, and managing emails and electronic files.

The successful candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel and may also assist with scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements. Responsibilities also encompass general clerical duties such as preparing packages and handling telephone communications. This role is ideal for candidates with an associate degree or equivalent education and one to two years of related experience, especially those with real estate experience. A bachelor's degree is a preferred qualification, and candidates should possess strong document interpretation skills as well as basic arithmetic abilities related to units of measure, ratios, percents, and graphs. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products required
  • Real estate experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret documents and correspondence
  • Basic arithmetic skills including units of measure, ratios, and percents
