Prism Real Estate Services is a premier property management company dedicated to putting people first and maintaining a strong reputation for excellence. Operating across the Kansas City area and the Midwest, Prism Real Estate Services manages a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The company emphasizes core values such as respect, integrity, service, and meaningful relationships. It fosters a motivating, adaptable, and forward-looking work environment characterized by authentic, accountable, and accessible professionals who act with initiative and creativity to continually improve. This culture supports a rewarding and collaborative workplace, focused on achieving the company's mission and delivering first-class management services to its clients and residents.
The Leasing Professional role, based at Windsong Townhomes in Lee's Summit, Missouri, offers a dynamic and engaging position within the Prism team. Working under the direction of the Property Manager, the Leasing Professional plays a vital role in tenant relations and property marketing. The position involves assisting prospective and current residents, maintaining the model units to present a welcoming environment, updating marketing efforts including social media and online advertisements, and managing essential leasing documents such as rental packets and move-in files. The role demands a professional demeanor and positive attitude aligned with Prism’s values, as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
This is an in-office position that requires predictable attendance and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Leasing Professional must utilize initiative, accuracy, and organizational skills to handle a variety of responsibilities including conducting property tours, performing market surveys, and completing compliance training on Fair Housing and other relevant regulations. Additionally, the position involves community engagement activities such as visiting local businesses and participating in resident functions. Reliable transportation is necessary because the role includes occasional errands and outreach in the local area.
Physical requirements include the ability to walk across the property frequently, lift office supplies up to 25 pounds, and remain seated or standing for extended periods. Essential abilities also include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and property management software such as Onesite, Knock, and HappyCo. Knowledge of HUD rules, landlord-tenant laws, OSHA standards, and fair housing laws is important to ensure compliance and best practices.
Prism Real Estate Services offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and professional growth of its employees. This includes partially funded health, dental, and vision insurance, company-funded life and long-term disability insurance, voluntary short-term disability insurance, paid time off starting at two weeks and increasing with tenure, extra bonus days off quarterly, paid holidays, 401(k) with matching contributions, rent discounts at select properties, and an employee assistance program. The company is committed to providing an inclusive workspace and is an Equal Opportunity Employer that participates in E-Verify. This position offers a meaningful career pathway for individuals passionate about property management and exceptional customer service.
