Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in leasing or property management preferred
  • valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
  • ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
  • ability to work in all weather conditions
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to travel occasionally for training or support at other properties

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous leasing or customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of the local rental market and property management software
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects
  • conduct community tours and show apartments
  • process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks
  • prepare lease and move-in packages and ensure smooth resident move-in and lease signing
  • inspect apartments prior to resident move-in and ensure they are move-in ready
  • develop and implement marketing plans and goals based on market and competitor conditions
  • design and execute marketing activities including resident referral and employer outreach programs
  • use property management software to track availability and leasing activities
  • ensure community and show units meet company standards and communicate maintenance needs
  • follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction
  • support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents, and securing signed documents
  • respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and questions
