The company adheres to principles such as treating others with respect and kindness, encapsulated in their belief in the Golden Rule. This commitment fosters a positive, fun, and productive work environment where employees are encouraged to thrive and contribute to thriving communities.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Leasing Professional to join our full-time team at The Standard in Dallas, TX. The Leasing Professional plays an essential role in connecting potential residents with their ideal homes, enhancing overall resident satisfaction, and supporting various property operational needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and real estate to build meaningful relationships and contribute to the community's growth. The role involves engaging with prospective residents through both in-person and virtual tours, effectively communicating property features, amenities, and community lifestyle benefits. Leasing Professionals are also responsible for converting leads into loyal residents by maintaining consistent and courteous follow-up communications across multiple channels such as phone, email, text, and online platforms.
In addition to resident engagement, the Leasing Professional assists with marketing efforts, including managing online listings, promoting through social media, organizing and participating in community events, and conducting local outreach to maximize leasing traffic. This role requires guiding potential residents through the leasing process, explaining lease agreements clearly, and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. Providing an exceptional resident experience is paramount, which includes addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and fostering a welcoming environment. Moreover, the Leasing Professional ensures homes are show-ready and move-in ready, coordinating closely with maintenance and office teams to facilitate smooth operations, move-ins, and move-outs.
An organized approach to maintaining records in property management systems, such as OneSite, is critical for compliance with Fair Housing standards and other housing regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or leasing. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Familiarity with property management software and lease agreements, as well as a willingness to learn about Fair Housing and property regulations, will set candidates apart. This role may require working weekends and occasional evenings to meet community needs.
Joining Knightvest offers many benefits, including competitive pay with bonus opportunities, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, and a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company match. Employees enjoy paid vacation and holidays, education reimbursement, professional development programs, employee assistance initiatives, wellness resources, apartment rental discounts, referral bonuses, and strong internal promotion prospects. This position provides a rewarding career path for those eager to grow in the property management industry while making a tangible difference in the lives of residents and the community.
