Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in leasing or customer service
- ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
- ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- valid driver’s license to operate golf cart
- willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
- ability to travel occasionally
- compliance with state and local licensing and certification requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous leasing or property management experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- valid driver’s license
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- customer service orientation
- basic marketing and sales skills
Job Duties
- Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
- greet and qualify prospects
- conduct community tours and show apartments
- process applications, credit screenings, and criminal background checks
- prepare lease and move-in packages
- ensure smooth resident move-in and lease signing
- inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate repairs with maintenance
- stay informed about market and competitor conditions
- develop and implement marketing plans
- follow established concessions and specials policies
- design and execute marketing activities including referral and outreach programs
- use property management software to track apartment availability and leasing activity
- ensure community and show units meet company standards
- follow up with prospects and new residents for satisfaction
- execute lease renewal program by preparing letters and packages
- respond quickly to resident and client concerns and questions
