Job Description

Greystar is a global leader in the real estate industry, specializing in the management, investment, development, and construction of institutional-quality rental housing. Founded in 1993 by Bob Faith and headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, Greystar has expanded its reach to over 250 markets worldwide, managing more than 1,000,000 apartment units and beds globally. With assets under management nearing $79 billion, Greystar operates as the largest apartment operator in the United States, providing unparalleled expertise in creating vibrant, sustainable communities. The company’s approach combines innovation, professional service, and a commitment to resident satisfaction, making it a premier choice for both employees and residents alike.

The Leasing Professional position at River House in Nashville, Tennessee, offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic property management team for a stabilized midrise building with 244 units. This role is essential in driving the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve and maintain optimal occupancy and revenue goals. The Leasing Professional is responsible for every stage of the leasing process, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, performing credit and background checks, preparing lease documents, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience for new residents. Emphasizing resident satisfaction, this position also focuses on maintaining strong communication with current residents and facilitating lease renewals that contribute to resident retention and community stability.

Working Monday through Friday with rotating weekend shifts, this role requires the use of property management software like OneSite or Yardi for tracking availability, traffic, and leasing activities. The Leasing Professional is also involved in community marketing efforts, using tools such as social media, email campaigns, and referral programs to attract prospective residents. Attention to detail is critical, as the professional must inspect units before move-in to ensure readiness and coordinate with maintenance teams for any necessary repairs. Maintaining an inviting leasing office and show units is equally important to uphold Greystar’s high standards.

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.00 to $21.00, with additional compensation opportunities including bonuses based on individual and company performance. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, and more, reflecting Greystar’s commitment to employee well-being and career growth. This position also demands physical stamina, the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on site. With opportunities for career development and a supportive work environment, the Leasing Professional role at Greystar stands as an excellent career path for those passionate about property management and resident services.
