Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in leasing or customer service
  • ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • ability to work in various weather conditions
  • valid driver’s license to operate golf cart
  • willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
  • ability to travel occasionally
  • compliance with state and local licensing and certification requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous leasing or property management experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • customer service orientation
  • basic marketing and sales skills

Job Duties

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
  • greet and qualify prospects
  • conduct community tours and show apartments
  • process applications, credit screenings, and criminal background checks
  • prepare lease and move-in packages
  • ensure smooth resident move-in and lease signing
  • inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate repairs with maintenance
  • stay informed about market and competitor conditions
  • develop and implement marketing plans
  • follow established concessions and specials policies
  • design and execute marketing activities including referral and outreach programs
  • use property management software to track apartment availability and leasing activity
  • ensure community and show units meet company standards
  • follow up with prospects and new residents for satisfaction
  • execute lease renewal program by preparing letters and packages
  • respond quickly to resident and client concerns and questions
