Job Description
Optima is a privately-held real estate firm with offices in Illinois and Arizona, renowned for over 40 years of excellence in developing, designing, building, and managing striking urban and suburban luxury residential communities. Committed to reinventing housing, Optima integrates all the critical functions of new construction within one company—development, design, construction, sales, and management. This approach offers unparalleled focus and flexibility, enabling the firm to deliver extraordinary living experiences through design, innovation, sustainability, and meticulous management.
The company cultivates a distinctive culture centered on meaningful work and meaningful people. Diverse, passionate teams unite under a shared commitment to excellence and innovation, fostering an environment where individuality is valued and all members contribute to creating extraordinary living environments. At Optima, the workplace is design-forward, collaborative, and dynamic, reflecting the high standards set across all communities. This commitment extends to their premier multifamily community in Scottsdale, Optima Sonoran Village, known for its world-class architecture, modern amenities, and unique community spirit.
The Leasing Manager role at Optima Sonoran Village represents more than just a leasing position—it is a leadership opportunity integral to the community’s success and resident satisfaction. This full-time role reports directly to the Property Manager and is ideal for experienced leasing professionals who thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments. The Leasing Manager leads the leasing and front office operations, driving occupancy and fostering an exceptional customer experience.
As a core member of the property leadership team, the Leasing Manager will oversee leasing team performance with a strategic approach to lead generation and resident retention. They will set the standard for professionalism, service excellence, and accountability, all while being an active leader who participates directly in leasing efforts. This position demands strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing the Leasing Manager to mentor and support leasing consultants, engage residents proactively, and collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance and property management teams.
The role also includes operational oversight responsibilities, involving the management of leasing technology platforms like Yardi Voyager 7, Rent Café CRM, and CRM IQ, ensuring seamless coordination of lead follow-up, application processing, lease execution, and reporting. Marketing and brand stewardship is another vital aspect, with the Leasing Manager responsible for managing relationships with marketing vendors and Internet Listing Services, overseeing digital content and social media scheduling, and spearheading referral programs with brokers and residents to boost leasing activity.
Resident experience and retention are prioritized through collaborative efforts with the operations team, managing community programs such as Optima Connect, and maintaining a strong presence within the community to address resident needs and enhance satisfaction. The Leasing Manager is also charged with upholding Optima’s brand standards and company policies, contributing to resident event planning and executing community initiatives.
This position requires candidates with at least 2-3 years of leasing experience and a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role within multifamily housing, hospitality, or sales-driven environments. Candidates must demonstrate proven success in achieving leasing and renewal goals, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a college degree preferred. Mastery of leasing software systems and a strong sense of service ownership are essential.
Optima offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the whole life of its employees, including a 100% company-paid medical plan option, employer-matched 401(k), paid parental leave, paid time off and holidays, and a beautiful, design-forward workplace. By joining Optima, leasing professionals become part of a high-energy, passionate team dedicated to creating extraordinary living experiences through exceptional leadership and management in one of the most vibrant real estate markets.
