Job Description
Redstone is a well-established multifamily residential housing management company that operates a diverse portfolio of approximately 600 apartment units located primarily in Chittenden County. With a reputation for quality service and community-focused property management, Redstone has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing residents with comfortable, safe, and thoughtfully maintained living environments. The company emphasizes a collaborative team approach, underscored by values such as safety, courtesy, inclusivity, efficiency, and pride of place. These values permeate every aspect of Redstone's operations, fostering a sense of community both among the residents and within the team itself.
The Leasing Manager position at Redstone is a pivotal role that directly contributes to the success of the property portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Resident Services and based out of the main office at 100 Bank Street, the Leasing Manager is responsible for leading leasing operations, managing prospective resident inquiries, and ensuring occupancy goals are consistently met. This salaried position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, with the added benefit of bonus eligibility, reflecting the importance of this role within Redstone’s organizational structure.
The ideal candidate for this position is outgoing, compassionate, and enthusiastic. They must be able to successfully balance operational priorities with a commitment to outstanding customer service, acting as a primary point of contact for new leads and applicants. A core aspect of the role involves communication—responding to applicant inquiries promptly, managing lease documentation accurately, and collaborating closely with the operations team to coordinate apartment turnovers, maintenance requests, and lease renewals. The Leasing Manager also plays an integral role in resident retention efforts, which include programming and event development aimed at creating a strong community atmosphere. Beyond operational responsibilities, the role requires familiarity and proficiency with property management software and online application systems, ensuring that information is accurate and that processes are efficient and user-friendly.
A collaboration with Redstone’s Brand Manager helps position the properties competitively within the market by developing and implementing effective marketing strategies. The Leasing Manager must also be adept at managing digital tools to streamline workflows and enhance applicant experiences.
Furthermore, this role includes after-hours and weekend on-call support responsibilities, approximately once every six weeks, ensuring that residents have access to assistance beyond regular office hours. This requirement highlights the Leasing Manager’s role in maintaining a reliable and responsive presence within the community.
This position requires critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs. The Leasing Manager must demonstrate professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while fostering team values and camaraderie within a small business environment where flexibility and multi-tasking are essential. A college degree is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance as conducting independent apartment showings is a significant part of the job.
Redstone values attendance highly and expects adherence to company policies, including those communicated via the Employee Handbook. Overall, this position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to contribute to a dynamic, resident-focused property management team that prioritizes quality service and community-building initiatives.
