Job Description
We are a reputable property management company dedicated to providing high-quality residential living experiences in a welcoming community environment. Our focus is on maintaining beautifully managed properties that cater to the diverse needs of residents while ensuring their safety and comfort. We pride ourselves on our commitment to exceptional customer service, innovative management practices, and fostering positive relationships with residents. Our team operates in a general office setting where collaboration, professional conduct, and attention to detail are paramount. We offer employment opportunities for individuals passionate about real estate and customer engagement, providing a supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and career development. Our leasing consultants play a vital role as the face of our community, responsible for creating a memorable and positive first impression for prospective residents while continuing to build lasting relationships with current residents. This position is a full-time opportunity with a Tuesday through Saturday work schedule, designed to align with community needs and maximize outreach efforts.
The Leasing Consultant position is ideal for motivated, customer-service-oriented professionals with excellent communication and organizational skills. This role involves greeting residents and potential renters warmly, understanding their housing preferences, and effectively showcasing the qualities and amenities of the community. Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to handle incoming calls promptly and courteously are essential. Leasing consultants ensure that the leasing office, apartment models, and amenities are kept to the highest standards daily, reflecting the community's values of excellence and care. Accuracy is crucial in completing paperwork and entering data, such as traffic and communications into the computer system, to maintain up-to-date records on prospective and current resident interactions.
Success in this role requires a strong focus on customer service and follow-up, a genuine desire to help others find their ideal homes, and a team-oriented approach combined with self-motivation and energy. Prior experience in apartment leasing is strongly preferred, as is the capability to close leases consistently and efficiently. Additionally, leasing consultants participate in market surveys and competitive shopping to understand trends and positioning better. The role also involves supporting resident relations and functions to maintain a vibrant and engaged community atmosphere. The working environment is typical of a general office setting with occasional requirements to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers for handling various tasks. Employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings plans, alongside performance incentives and a positive workplace culture designed to support ongoing professional development and satisfaction.
