Job Description

Valiant Residential is a prominent property management company with over 37 years of experience, known for its bold, innovative approach and commitment to excellence in the real estate industry. As a next-generation property management leader, Valiant Residential is highly attuned to the needs of property owners and residents, fostering prosperous partnerships and long-term success. The company’s culture emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and strategic thinking, making a meaningful impact within the communities it serves. Consistently recognized as a "Top Place to Work," Valiant Residential attracts professionals who are driven to make a difference and are eager to grow their careers within a dynamic industry.

Valiant Residential is currently seeking a Leasing Consultant to join their team. This role is vital to ensuring the community achieves high occupancy rates while promoting resident satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for a range of duties related to leasing, retention, and occupancy, emphasizing exceptional customer service to create a positive, lasting impression on prospects, visitors, and current residents. The position requires a friendly and personable disposition—someone who can engage effectively with individuals and support the overall community team.

As a Leasing Consultant at Valiant Residential, you will greet prospects, qualify them based on established criteria, and assist them through the application and leasing process. You will be responsible for preparing move-in packages, handling lease paperwork, inspecting model and market-ready units, and communicating any needed maintenance to the Community Manager. This role also includes monitoring renewals, managing advertising effectiveness, and generally representing the company professionally at all times.

The role requires proficiency with telephone systems, personal computers, Microsoft Office applications (including Word and Outlook), and specialized community software, such as Yardi System. You will be expected to accurately update availability reports, process applications for approval, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws. Abilities in communication, problem-solving, and customer service are critical, as is the capacity to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Valiant Residential offers competitive total compensation, comprehensive benefits including health insurance options and 401(k) matching, as well as ample opportunities for career development within a collaborative and innovative culture. Growth is expected and supported, encouraging employees to thrive and contribute to the success of the organization. If you embody a "Valiant Spirit"—bold, driven, and ready to make an impact—this role offers a meaningful career path in property management.
