Job Description

Preiss is a prominent leader in the ownership and management of multifamily and student housing communities across the United States. Known for its expansive and diverse national portfolio, Preiss prides itself on delivering an unparalleled living experience for residents while providing a best-in-class investment platform for its stakeholders. As an Equal Opportunity and LGBTQ+ friendly employer, Preiss fosters an inclusive work environment that welcomes diverse talent and perspectives. The company’s dedication to operational excellence and superior customer service has positioned it as a preferred property management firm nationwide.

One of Preiss’s managed properties, Riverfront Village, is currently seeking a Leasing Consultant to join the team. This role is vital to the day-to-day operations of the property’s leasing and marketing efforts, ensuring high occupancy rates and positive resident relations. The Leasing Consultant acts as the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process, answering inquiries, and facilitating successful lease signings. The position also involves marketing responsibilities focused on driving community engagement and attracting new residents through strategic outreach and promotional activities. Additionally, the Leasing Consultant helps maintain tenant satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and coordinating resident events to foster a welcoming community atmosphere.

This is a full-time position that combines sales, customer service, and community relations within a vibrant residential setting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Leasing Consultants at Riverfront Village play an essential role in supporting the property’s business goals by maximizing resident retention and ensuring a seamless leasing experience from initial contact through move-in. Furthermore, the role requires a proactive approach to marketing, including developing partnerships with local universities, businesses, and cultural centers to boost property visibility and lead generation.

With a focus on both administrative duties and direct resident interaction, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for managing leasing databases, following up on leads, and conducting competitor research to remain informed of market trends and occupancy strategies. The role demands excellent organizational skills to handle lease documentation, payments, and reporting tasks efficiently. Preiss offers comprehensive training and support to empower its Leasing Consultants to succeed and grow professionally within the dynamic multifamily housing sector.
