Job Description

With a robust team of over 1,300 employees and operations spanning approximately 20 states, Dominium has been a cornerstone in affordable housing development and management for more than five decades. This company is dedicated to creating quality, affordable homes that foster community connection and deliver enduring value to residents, employees, and partners alike. Dominium's core values—Entrepreneurial Innovation, Developing People, Growth Mindset, and Execution (EDGE)—guide its mission to provide dignified housing solutions that positively impact generations. The company’s reach and reputation make it one of the most respected and innovative players in the affordable housing industry today.

The Leasing Consultant position at Dominium is a pivotal role located at Park Avenue West, a well-maintained 122-unit apartment community in Denver, Colorado. This position blends exceptional customer service skills with sales acumen, primarily focusing on leasing apartments. The ideal candidate thrives on engaging with prospective residents through multiple communication channels including phone, in-person interactions, and online platforms. Responsibilities encompass presenting properties expertly, building strong rapport with potential residents, conducting tours adhering to company standards, and performing timely follow-up to ensure prospective residents receive all necessary information to make leasing decisions.

In addition, this role requires strict compliance with Fair Housing laws, maintaining professionalism in appearance and demeanor, and accurately documenting all interactions within the company’s property management software system. Assisting applicants through the housing application process, ensuring completeness and eligibility documentation are key duties that contribute to community retention and satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant will also participate in off-site marketing and outreach initiatives designed to generate traffic and bolster occupancy rates, thereby directly supporting the financial and operational goals of Park Avenue West.

This role operates on a schedule that may include evenings and weekends to meet the needs of prospective residents and the community. Dominium offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $23, supplemented with a potential 5% bonus, reflecting the importance of meeting sales and service targets. Employees also gain access to a comprehensive benefits package that delivers health, life, disability insurance options, paid time off including holidays, parental leave, and more, fostering both personal and professional growth.

Working at Dominium means joining a mission-driven company where every team member plays a crucial role in addressing the affordable housing crisis, fostering community development, and helping individuals and families secure homes that bring dignity and stability. This role is ideal for those eager to contribute meaningfully to society while developing their professional skills in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
