The Leasing Consultant position at Centennial Village plays a critical role in the onsite management team's success. This role is designed for individuals who are personable, proactive, and committed to delivering an outstanding experience to prospective and current residents. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of Centennial Village, responsible for creating positive first impressions and fostering a welcoming atmosphere within the community. This position entails actively engaging with potential residents by showcasing the community's amenities, guiding tours, and answering inquiries with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism.
The Leasing Consultant is also responsible for driving occupancy and rent growth by meeting leasing goals through effective customer relationship management and a thorough understanding of the rental process. This includes qualifying prospects, performing background checks, ensuring apartment readiness for move-in, and maintaining resident satisfaction to boost retention rates. Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount, as you will coordinate and complete various leasing documentation and office tasks.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related leasing or customer service experience
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and office software
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capacity to ascend and descend stairs and travel between buildings
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about the amenities local community and grounds
- Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home
- Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting information and initiating background checks
- Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in
- Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed expectations while maintaining resident retention
- Perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals
- Other duties as assigned
