We are currently seeking an upbeat, service-minded Leasing Agent for our Heritage at Cottonwood Creek property located in San Marcos, TX. This newly developed 233-unit community offers a unique lease-up opportunity that combines conventional apartments with an Essential Housing component, designed to meet various housing needs. The Leasing Agent role is pivotal in driving results by finding prospective residents and guiding them through the entire leasing process. This includes engaging with prospects from initial contact, conducting property tours, to completing the necessary lease or application paperwork.
Unlike a traditional leasing role, this position requires someone who understands the importance of nurturing relationships with prospects by maintaining ongoing, multi-channel communication including phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media outreach. The potential candidate must be people-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on applicants’ lives. Preferred qualifications include bilingual Spanish/English skills and experience with lease-up communities. Additionally, weekend availability is a necessary aspect of this role due to the leasing cycle and resident availability.
Compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with final pay dependent on individual qualifications and experience. Candidates must successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug test prior to hiring.
