The company is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Leasing Consultant to join their team in Fayetteville, NC. This role is ideal for an energetic and outgoing individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with people. As the first point of contact for residents, prospects, and visitors, the Leasing Consultant plays a critical role in shaping the community's image through excellent customer service and thorough knowledge of the property and its offerings.
The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for engaging potential residents by showing apartment units and community amenities, either by appointment or walk-ins, ensuring that all leasing processes are conducted smoothly and efficiently. This includes assisting residents, answering phones, responding to emails promptly, and processing leasing paperwork to maintain complete and accurate resident files. A strong emphasis is placed on explaining lease agreements and addenda clearly to new residents while adhering to Fair Housing standards to ensure equitable treatment and compliance.
Additionally, the Leasing Consultant will monitor leasing traffic, analyze market trends, and contribute to marketing activities within the community and the local market. The role involves planning and coordinating resident events, fostering a sense of community and resident engagement. The position requires someone with strong organizational and communication skills, an ability to maintain a professional image, and a passion for delivering top-tier customer service. Weekend and holiday availability is required, as this position supports an 8-hour shift schedule with flexibility for community needs.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in apartment leasing or related customer service and sales roles preferred. Experience with lease-up properties and familiarity with Yardi software, including Yardi CRM, is considered a plus. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are mandatory, along with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Job Duties
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for residents, prospects, and visitors
- show apartments and amenities to future residents by appointment or walk-ins
- assist residents, answer telephone calls, and respond to emails promptly
- complete leasing paperwork and ensure resident files are complete
- compile and process applications
- explain lease agreements and addenda to new residents
- follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends and market surveys
- ensure compliance with Fair Housing standards
- assist with marketing activities within the community and local market
- plan and coordinate resident events
- perform other assigned duties
