Job Description

Preiss is a prominent leader in the ownership and management of multifamily and student housing communities across the United States. With a wide-ranging national portfolio, Preiss prides itself on delivering exceptional living experiences and maintaining a best-in-class investment platform. The company is committed to fostering inclusive work environments, being an Equal Opportunity and LGBTQ+ friendly employer. Their dedication to quality management has positioned them as a trusted name within the multifamily housing industry, consistently providing top-tier service to both residents and investors alike.

The Row at the Stadium, one of Preiss's well-known properties, is currently seeking a Leasing Consultant to join their team. This role is instrumental in managing day-to-day leasing and marketing operations while maintaining excellent resident relations. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, playing a critical role in guiding them through the leasing process and providing exceptional customer service to enhance their living experience. The position involves engaging with potential residents, parents, and visitors in a professional manner, pursuing leasing leads, and managing follow-ups to maximize occupancy rates.

In addition to leasing responsibilities, this role demands active participation in marketing initiatives designed to drive community engagement and increase property visibility. The Leasing Consultant will collaborate with local universities, institutions, businesses, and cultural centers to foster strong relationships and promote the community effectively. Organizing and executing resident events, conducting on-campus promotions, distributing marketing materials, and performing community outreach are key components of the role.

Maintaining a positive tenant experience is also essential, requiring the Leasing Consultant to promptly address resident inquiries and concerns, log packages, and ensure overall satisfaction within the community. The role includes various administrative duties such as generating mailings, collecting payments, and filing leases, which contribute to the smooth operation of property management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of customer service and/or sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations. Experience in property management leasing is preferred but not required. Educational qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma with some college education preferred; a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is an advantage.

This position offers a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity within an established company that values professionalism, inclusivity, and community engagement. The Leasing Consultant role not only supports the operational success of The Row at the Stadium but also contributes to creating vibrant, welcoming living environments where residents feel valued and supported. Join Preiss and be part of a team committed to excellence in multifamily and student housing management where your contributions will make a meaningful difference.
