For the Tampa team, CMC is looking to hire a strong bilingual Leasing Consultant who can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish. This role is critical in supporting the leasing activities and resident relations efforts in the community, helping to ensure high occupancy and resident satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing and pre-leasing apartments, assisting residents, and maintaining compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies. This position typically operates within an office environment and regularly interacts with prospective and current residents, requiring a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
The job entails various duties such as answering telephones promptly according to company standards, greeting residents and prospects warmly, and providing thorough tours of the property. The Leasing Consultant also completes guest cards for all prospective tenants, prepares leasing documents including applications and credit reports, and handles lease paperwork efficiently. Additional responsibilities include following up with residents post maintenance service to confirm satisfaction, managing move-in packets and calendars, responding promptly to phone messages and email requests, and distributing packages to residents.
Physical requirements involve regular talking and hearing, standing, walking including stair navigation, and using hands to handle office tasks. The role demands strong customer and client focus, stress management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with thoroughness. This position requires proficiency with standard office equipment such as computers and phones, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Job Duties
- Answer telephones per company policy
- Greet residents and prospects promptly with a friendly welcome
- Complete guest cards on all prospects
- Take all prospects on a complete tour of the premises
- Follow up with all residents after a work order to ensure it has been taken care of to their satisfactory
- Prepare lease applications, credit reports, credit worksheets all lease documents
- Communicate lease paperwork to new residents, receive deposits and record according to company policy
