The company has been ranked as the number 5 best places to work in the multifamily sector and has earned prestigious accolades such as the National Apartment Association (NAA) Top Employers award. This recognition reflects the company’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture where employees are valued as the greatest asset. Stoa Group's philosophy centers around investing in its workforce, nurturing their growth, and creating thriving communities for residents, thereby aligning business success with employee satisfaction and community engagement.
At Stoa Group, the mission goes beyond developing apartment complexes; it focuses on creating extraordinary living environments that enrich the lives of residents. The company’s dedication to quality, innovation, and employee empowerment has made it a preferred employer and a trusted developer in the multifamily housing market across Louisiana and beyond.
The Leasing Consultant role at Stoa Group’s luxury property located in Flowood, Mississippi, plays a vital role in bringing prospective residents and apartment homes together. This is a full-time position designed for personable, sales-savvy individuals with a passion for relationship-building and exceptional customer service. As the heart of the community, the Leasing Consultant acts as the welcoming face of the property, creating connections with prospects, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the leasing process with confidence and professionalism.
Leasing Consultants at Stoa Group are responsible for more than just sales; they create an inviting environment where current residents feel valued and prospective residents see a vibrant community to call home. The role requires dynamic multitasking abilities, creativity in problem-solving, and a proactive approach to managing daily tasks. Each interaction is an opportunity to leave a positive impression, resolve concerns quickly, and contribute to a community where residents feel appreciated and at ease.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing them to engage effectively with residents and team members. Being a team player is essential, as collaboration with property management and marketing teams ensures a seamless resident experience and effective community outreach. Organization and flexibility are key since the role involves balancing appointments, follow-ups, and community activities. Creativity and motivation further drive success, enabling the Leasing Consultant to develop innovative solutions and meet sales goals.
In addition to lease administration and resident relations, the Leasing Consultant helps maintain accurate records of applications, leases, rent payments, and inventory. They also play an active part in planning community events that build camaraderie among residents, enriching the overall living experience. Stoa Group offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary plus commissions, and a comprehensive benefits plan with employer-paid health insurance and retirement matching, emphasizing the company’s dedication to employee well-being and professional growth.
Joining Stoa Group as a Leasing Consultant means becoming part of a values-driven, employee-first organization that strives to cultivate not only desirable housing but also a supportive and engaging workplace culture. This role presents a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents while advancing one's career in a respected and growing company.
