Currently, KETTLER is hiring a full-time Leasing Consultant for Metropolitan Riverwalk, an attractive apartment community located in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Leasing Consultant position at Metropolitan Riverwalk is a pivotal role focused on maximizing property occupancy by actively engaging with prospective residents and providing outstanding customer service. Working under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Leasing Consultant plays a critical role in generating qualified traffic through strategic marketing initiatives and community networking. This role demands proactive outreach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create lasting impressions that encourage lease signings and resident retention.

Leasing Consultants serve as the community's first point of contact, warmly welcoming potential residents and guiding them through property tours to showcase the unique features and benefits of living at Metropolitan Riverwalk. Beyond direct resident interactions, the Leasing Consultant supports retention efforts by addressing resident concerns, coordinating communications, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging environment through social media and local partnerships. The role involves scheduling appointments, processing lease applications, qualifying residents, and maintaining an organized office environment by assisting with administrative tasks under the direction of the Community Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or office environments, preferably within residential property management. They will exhibit a goal-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, combined with technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms for business use. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required to meet the dynamic needs of this community-oriented position. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service sales or office environment preferably in residential property management
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with social media platforms

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service sales or office experience is required preferably in residential property management
  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent some college preferred
  • Customer service sales and goal-oriented mindset
  • Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner
  • Familiarity with social media platforms as well as best practices for businesses

Job Duties

  • Greeting prospective residents and providing them with property tours
  • Performing proper outreach marketing
  • Help create engaging social media initiatives to connect residents and manage posts
  • Daily follow up on all prospects to make sure all questions are answered and a high touch approach adhered to
  • Assisting with resident retention
  • Support efforts to partner with nearby businesses events and other local organizations
  • Walking the marketing path daily
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and prospects
  • Processing lease applications and qualifying residents
  • Supporting the Community Manager with general office maintenance by answering phones and performing other administrative tasks
  • Play a key role in resolving resident concerns and issues
  • Other duties as assigned
