Gateway Lofts Centerville, located just south of Dayton in Centerville, Ohio, is one of the vibrant communities managed by Coastal Ridge. The Leasing Consultant role at Gateway Lofts Centerville is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Property Manager. This position plays a critical part in the leasing efforts and daily interactions with residents, focusing on creating exceptional experiences for both prospective and current residents while achieving individual and team leasing goals. Leasing Consultants are responsible for engaging with potential residents by providing personalized tours, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring a smooth leasing process.
This role requires a mix of exceptional customer service skills, sales acumen, and operational efficiency to maintain high occupancy rates and foster a positive community environment. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be expected to contribute to leasing targets, greet and develop rapport with prospects, guide them throughout the application process, and manage resident communications effectively. You will also participate in marketing initiatives and uphold the aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of community spaces.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to obtain all required licenses and certifications
- previous leasing and sales experience preferred
- strong computer literacy
- familiarity with property management software
- intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus
- ability to participate in emergency duties

Job Duties
- Contribute to individual and team leasing targets
- greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents
- provide tours showcasing property features while tailoring experiences
- confidently close the leasing process by addressing objections and securing commitments
- manage leasing inquiries promptly through phone, email, or in person
- enter and maintain accurate lead information in Entrata and follow up proactively
- develop understanding of site leasing trends and product availability
- ensure impeccably maintained office, model units, clubhouse, and common areas
- participate in community marketing initiatives and resident event planning
- guide prospects through application and lease execution process
- collect move-in fees and handle paperwork and funds properly
- provide exceptional customer service addressing resident inquiries and service requests
- maintain and manage community waitlist and communicate updates
- perform other duties as assigned
