Recognized as the #2 Best Place To Work in Multifamily for 2026, Fogelman is known for cultivating vibrant, well-managed communities that prioritize excellent resident experiences and associate growth. The company offers competitive compensation packages alongside extensive benefits to foster a supportive work environment for its associates. Located in Cordova, Tennessee, Fogelman manages Appling Lakes, a reputable residential community seeking to hire a Leasing Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role presents an outstanding opportunity for a motivated, sales-driven professional to develop their career within the multifamily housing sector while earning competitive leasing commissions and other financial incentives.
The Leasing Consultant position at Appling Lakes is geared towards individuals who have a passion for helping others find their next home and enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong social media and marketing skills, exceptional customer service and communication abilities, and a passion for planning and executing resident events to enhance community engagement. Experience working with property management software platforms such as Yardi, CRM systems, and Yieldstar is considered an asset. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for providing tours, assisting prospective residents with the leasing process, executing community marketing strategies, and maintaining positive resident relations. This position requires a professional who is personable, energetic, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
This is a full-time position offering competitive biweekly pay supplemented by $125 leasing commissions and split monthly renewal commissions. Additionally, associates receive a monthly cell phone allowance, quarterly shopping report bonuses, and housing discounts. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes BCBS health, dental, vision, and disability/life insurance, a matching 401K plan, training opportunities, career development, tuition reimbursement, and employee recognition programs through Awardco, associate appreciations, and incentives. With employee support resources such as Employee Connect for legal, financial, and personal assistance, Fogelman demonstrates a strong commitment to the well-being and professional growth of their workforce.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of Appling Lakes, representing the community with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your role will include interviewing prospective residents to assess their housing needs, conducting tours of model and vacant apartments, processing leasing paperwork, scheduling move-ins, and ensuring the readiness of apartments before occupancy. You will also coordinate resident events to foster community spirit, handle resident requests and complaints courteously, and assist with marketing initiatives including market surveys and resident notices. Weekend work may occasionally be required to meet the needs of prospective and current residents. Fogelman values associates who display a proactive approach, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to excellence in customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with at least two years of sales or leasing experience who are ready to make a meaningful impact within a supportive team setting and a highly regarded multifamily community.
