CMC is currently seeking a bilingual Leasing Consultant for its Tampa team. This full-time role requires a motivated individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish and has strong communication skills. The Leasing Consultant plays a critical role in leasing and pre-leasing apartments, assisting with resident relations, and supporting the overall leasing process. The position includes responsibilities such as greeting prospects and residents, conducting tours of the property, preparing and processing lease documents, and following up with residents after maintenance work orders to ensure satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant acts as a point of contact for prospective and current residents, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while ensuring compliance with all Fair Housing guidelines.
This role involves a balance of administrative duties and face-to-face interactions. The Leasing Consultant will handle inquiries through telephone and email, respond promptly to requests, manage guest cards for prospects, and organize move-in packets and calendars. Additional duties include accepting and distributing resident packages from delivery services and performing other administrative tasks to support the leasing office. The candidate must be capable of operating standard office equipment and demonstrate competencies in customer focus, stress management, and thoroughness. The position requires some physical activity such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs, reflecting the dynamic nature of property leasing and management.

Job Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to talk and hear regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, and walk staircase to second floor frequently
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Strong customer/client focus

- Thoroughness in completing tasks

Job Qualifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Experience in customer service or leasing preferred

Job Duties
- Answer telephones per company policy
- Greet residents and prospects promptly with a friendly welcome
- Complete guest cards on all prospects
- Take all prospects on a complete tour of the premises
- Follow up with all residents after a work order to ensure it has been taken care of to their satisfaction
- Prepare lease applications, credit reports, credit worksheets, all lease documents
- Communicate lease paperwork to new residents, receive deposits and record according to company policy
