Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours
- Completed a minimum of one academic year at the enrolled college or university
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community
- Reside on the designated community floor as assigned by the Community Manager
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Valid driver’s license required
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Strong commitment to embodying Cardinal’s culture and core values
Job Qualifications

- Available to work approximately 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform administrative front desk tasks and duties
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training
- Warmly greet prospective clients
- Answer incoming leasing calls
- Determine needs and preferences of potential residents
- Professionally present the community and apartment homes
- Utilize feature-benefit selling techniques
- Close the sale and follow up with prospects
- Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation in line with company policy
- Participate in lease file audits
- Stay informed on current market conditions and trends by shopping competitors and attending trainings
- Maintain cleanliness of the tour path for positive community impressions
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors
- Assist with planning and participating in community events
- Support various community projects as assigned by the Community Manager
- Participate in Cardinal U training
- Fulfill “on-call” duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds
- Work evenings and weekends as scheduled
