Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours
  • Completed a minimum of one academic year at the enrolled college or university
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community
  • Reside on the designated community floor as assigned by the Community Manager
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week
  • Must be available evenings and weekends
  • Strong commitment to embodying Cardinal’s culture and core values

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program with a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • Completed at least one year at the enrolled institution
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, verified annually
  • Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community
  • Reside on the designated community floor as assigned
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Available to work approximately 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to embody and uphold Cardinal’s culture and core values daily

Job Duties

  • Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform administrative front desk tasks and duties
  • Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training
  • Warmly greet prospective clients
  • Answer incoming leasing calls
  • Determine needs and preferences of potential residents
  • Professionally present the community and apartment homes
  • Utilize feature-benefit selling techniques
  • Close the sale and follow up with prospects
  • Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
  • Maintain accurate lease file documentation in line with company policy
  • Participate in lease file audits
  • Stay informed on current market conditions and trends by shopping competitors and attending trainings
  • Maintain cleanliness of the tour path for positive community impressions
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors
  • Assist with planning and participating in community events
  • Support various community projects as assigned by the Community Manager
  • Participate in Cardinal U training
  • Fulfill “on-call” duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds
  • Work evenings and weekends as scheduled
