The role of Leasing Agent at CAHEC Management is a part-time position located at Thrive at South End, 420 Chapanoke Road, Raleigh, North Carolina. This position is critical in supporting the leasing and property management teams to ensure high occupancy rates by efficiently handling tenant relations, marketing, and administrative tasks. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, offering a 100% in-person work environment with some variation in schedule hours. Leasing agents will work closely alongside maintenance and management staff to ensure that both prospective and current tenants receive exceptional service. Duties include managing tenant applications, conducting property tours, advertising vacancies, screening applicants, and handling rent payments. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining excellent communication and organizational skills. Applicants are expected to have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, and previous experience in data management and customer service is preferred.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in administrative or leasing roles preferred
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Passion for people and serving others
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday with varied in-person schedule
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Recording and updating details of prospective and existing tenants into computer database swiftly
- Examining properties and informing maintenance staff of issues
- Advertising available properties and conducting property tours as part of marketing activities
- Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements
- Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information
- Informing prospective tenants of results
- Inspecting properties once units are vacated
- Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns
- Maintaining and storing documentation effectively
- Accepting rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees
- Any other tasks as assigned by the employee’s manager or in accordance with business needs
