Currently, CAHEC Management, Inc. is hiring for two full-time roles: Leasing Agent and Lead Maintenance Technician. The Leasing Agent position involves handling tenant interactions, property tours, screening prospective tenants, managing lease documentation, rent collections, and maintaining effective communication between tenants and management. This role is critical in ensuring smooth occupancy and tenant satisfaction across managed properties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and work is 100% in person at various property locations. The ideal Leasing Agent is highly organized with excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and data management software. Paying close attention to detail, multitasking efficiently, and prioritizing tasks are key to success in this role.
The Lead Maintenance Technician position plays a leadership role in property maintenance, working closely with the Community Manager to ensure efficient and effective property operations. This role requires supervising maintenance technicians, conducting training sessions on safety and technical subjects such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and responding promptly to service requests with a priority on health and safety. Additionally, the Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine maintenance and repairs, documenting work accurately, performing site inspections, managing supplies and inventory, and coordinating work with contractors while adhering to budget guidelines. The role requires physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and working under various environmental conditions. Plumbing experience and an HVAC license are mandatory qualifications for this role. It also requires knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and a commitment to continuous learning.

- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Duties
- Recording and updating details of prospective and existing tenants into computer database swiftly
- Examining properties and informing maintenance staff of issues
- Advertising available properties and conducting property tours as part of marketing activities
- Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements
- Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information
- Informing prospective tenants of results
- Inspecting properties once units are vacated
- Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns
- Maintaining and storing documentation effectively
- Accepting rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees
- Any other tasks as assigned by the employee’s manager and/or in accordance with business needsration
