The Leasing Agent will play a critical role in sustaining occupancy rates at or around 97 percent by effectively marketing available units and ensuring a seamless leasing process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the agent must address resident concerns promptly, schedule and coordinate maintenance work, and ensure follow-up to confirm that all issues have been resolved satisfactorily. Experience in service or hospitality sales is required, with a preference for candidates who have specific leasing or residential sales expertise. An associate's degree in business management or a related field is also preferred to support the comprehensive understanding needed for success in this role.

This employment opportunity with TLC Properties offers a supportive environment with benefits that include paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and even a rental discount after completion of the probationary period. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, TLC Properties values diversity and inclusion and is committed to creating a welcoming workplace for all employees.

In this position, a thorough knowledge of property management principles, fair housing laws, effective sales techniques, and relevant software tools is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in customer service, sales negotiation, communication, problem-solving, organization, marketing, and computer literacy. Additionally, the ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, adapt to changing work environments, pay attention to detail, manage time efficiently, and comply with all regulatory requirements is critical for success. Joining TLC Properties as a Leasing Agent means becoming part of a team devoted to delivering outstanding resident experiences and maintaining thriving apartment communities.
