Job Description
Two Coast Living is a reputable property management company dedicated to creating vibrant, welcoming communities where residents feel truly at home. Known for their commitment to exceptional customer service and quality living spaces, Two Coast Living manages a diverse portfolio of residential properties that cater to various lifestyles and needs. As a company, they focus on fostering a positive environment not only for their residents but also for their employees, emphasizing respect, integrity, and community engagement. With a strong foundation in property management, they provide comprehensive services that include leasing, maintenance, and resident support, all aimed at enhancing the living experience.
The role of Leasing Consultant at Two Coast Living is integral to their mission of building connected communities. This position is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be the heart of the community, acting as the friendly face and trusted guide for prospective and current residents. The Leasing Consultant engages directly with potential residents from the first point of contact, helping them navigate the apartment selection process with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role involves greeting visitors, conducting apartment tours, answering any questions, and facilitating a smooth transition into their new homes.
Leasing Consultants also play a critical role in resident retention by fostering strong relationships and encouraging lease renewals. They work closely with the property management team to meet leasing targets while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. The position offers competitive pay plus commissions, with earnings ranging between $25 to $100 per lease, paid monthly. The role is full-time and requires flexibility to work peak business days, including Fridays, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays or holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with auto-enrollment after 60 days, vacation accrual, paid sick leave, and holiday pay for eligible employees.
Candidates need to be outgoing, personable, and possess a natural ability to build relationships and trust. Success in this fast-paced, customer-focused role requires excellent communication skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and the ability to stay organized and meet goals under pressure. The position also demands a high school diploma or GED at minimum, with a preference for candidates holding an undergraduate degree. Previous experience in property management or sales is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to work in a general office environment, lift items up to 10 pounds, walk and climb stairs, and work varied schedules aligned with business peaks. This role is classified as non-exempt under the FLSA, and Two Coast Living supports inclusivity by providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in accordance with relevant laws.
