Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality management
- recent college graduate or graduating senior
- strong communication skills
- passion for hospitality and leadership
- high-level critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- authorized to work in the u.s.
- availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late-night shifts
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, operating equipment
Job Qualifications
- recent college graduate or graduating senior with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality management
- strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality and leadership
- high-level critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- authorized to work in the u.s. with no sponsorship provided
Job Duties
- build on the foundation of academic experience and gain real-world exposure across the food & beverage department
- serve in an assistant manager role from day one with tailored development tracks
- participate in leadership and supervisory skills training and coursework
- gain exposure to pyramid global senior leadership and company culture
- attend monthly leadership development meetings with cross-functional exposure to business development, revenue management, sales & marketing, rooms division leadership, and human resources
- complete online coursework on time management, building relationships, motivating and leading teams, conflict resolution and problem solving, critical thinking and decision making, training and performance coaching
- operate equipment such as POS systems, housekeeping carts, dish machines
- work in a fast-paced guest-facing environment with variable schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, early mornings and late-night shifts
- engage with guests, team members, and vendors frequently
