The Custodial Supervisor is entrusted with leading a team responsible for maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and custodial standards at the installation per contract specifications. The supervisor will transport more than four crew members, supplies, and equipment across designated areas, adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) and military installation regulations. Additionally, the Custodial Supervisor must ensure compliance with OSHA, CPR/First Aid, safety, and security standards, besides upholding a professional dress code and personal hygiene. The position involves physically demanding duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, and may also include handling special restoration work, setup for events, and emergency cleaning. This role is designated essential, meaning the employee must be prepared to respond to institutional emergencies to support facility operations.

Candidates are expected to have at least six months of custodial experience, with preferred skills in van driving and custodial training. The role also entails maintaining detailed records, supervising in the absence of the primary supervisor, and performing secondary tasks such as snow removal and inventory management. The position requires a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to operate vehicles according to policy, including driving a 15-passenger van if needed. Chimes values adherence to its core competencies, which include leadership, accuracy, adaptability, communication, safety awareness, and teamwork.
