Leigh & Co Events is a dynamic and rapidly expanding wedding planning company operating nationwide. Known for its personalized and detail-oriented approach, Leigh & Co Events has established itself as a trusted name in the wedding industry. With a commitment to helping couples bring their dream weddings to life across multiple locations, the company prides itself on delivering seamless, unforgettable experiences. By combining creativity, professionalism, and dedicated client service, Leigh & Co Events caters to a wide range of wedding sizes and styles, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. Their comprehensive planning services are specifically designed to make wedding days stress-free and truly special for every client.
At Leigh & Co Events, the team shares a passion for creating memorable moments that genuinely reflect each couple's unique love story. Supported by a skilled network of client experience managers, assistant coordinators, and expert vendors, the company ensures that every detail of the wedding planning process is handled with utmost care and precision. As the company continues to expand, it attracts talented professionals who are enthusiastic about weddings and committed to delivering excellence in every event.
Currently, Leigh & Co Events is seeking Lead Wedding Planners to join their team for the upcoming 2026 wedding season and beyond. This contract position offers a flexible schedule, ideal for individuals passionate about wedding planning who desire adaptable working hours. The role places the Lead Wedding Planner at the forefront of managing and executing weddings at various venues. These planners will work closely with clients to translate their visions into reality, collaborating extensively with client experience managers during the pre-wedding stages to finalize plans and coordinating with assistant coordinators on the wedding day to ensure flawless execution.
The responsibilities of the Lead Wedding Planner include conducting final detail calls with couples about six weeks before their wedding date to confirm all logistics, timelines, and expectations. Leading the ceremony rehearsal to ensure all participants are confident and prepared is another key duty. On the wedding day, the planner acts as the primary advocate for the couple, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented approach to support them through any challenges or last-minute adjustments. Managing and supervising both ceremony and reception setups according to event design and day-of execution guidelines is an essential aspect of the role.
Additionally, the Lead Wedding Planner is responsible for the full execution of the wedding day, from the arrival of vendors in the morning to the final breakdown late at night. This includes welcoming and directing vendors and guests, providing clear setup instructions, and ensuring the flawless placement of important event details such as escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor elements. The planner also offers guidance and support to the wedding party and family members throughout the day, ensuring all end-of-event items like gifts, guest books, and personal décor are properly packed and accounted for.
This position demands strong proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently manage unexpected situations to guarantee a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees. Working weekends is essential, highlighting the planner's commitment to handling events on their important days. Leasing a reliable transportation option is necessary for timely arrival across various venues. The role is perfect for experienced wedding planners seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive, thriving company environment that values creativity, dedication, and teamwork.
