Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a rapidly expanding wedding planning company based in Boston, serving clients across the United States with precision and creativity. Known for delivering seamless and memorable wedding experiences, Leigh & Co. Events prides itself on its personalized approach and professional execution. The company has carved out a reputation in the wedding industry for crafting unique celebrations that reflect the personalities and love stories of each couple. Its commitment to quality, client satisfaction, and detailed planning makes it one of the sought-after wedding planning firms nationally.

The role of Lead Wedding Planner at Leigh & Co. Events is an exciting contract opportunity designed for passionate individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a lasting impact on couples' most cherished day. This position offers flexibility, allowing planners to set their own schedules while engaging in comprehensive training to ensure success. Each project provides a competitive payment of $350 for 10-12 hours of dedicated work, ideal for those seeking meaningful work in the wedding planning industry without a full-time commitment.

As a Lead Wedding Planner, you will hold a pivotal role in executing flawless wedding day operations. The position focuses on onsite execution where you will collaborate with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to oversee every aspect of the event. You will lead critical final details calls about six weeks ahead of each wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations, ensuring all facets are aligned with the couple's vision.

Responsibilities extend to facilitating the ceremony rehearsal to guarantee all participants are comfortable with timing and cues. Being the primary advocate for the couple onsite, you will maintain a calm, solutions-oriented approach to manage any challenges that arise. Overseeing ceremony and reception setup in line with established event design and execution guidelines is essential, as is managing the entire wedding day from vendor arrival through final breakdown.

Interfacing with vendors as the main point of contact, you will provide clear directions and coordinate the placement of personal details and décor elements critical to the event’s success. Your guidance will extend to the wedding party and families, offering timing cues and assistance to ensure all runs smoothly. You will also manage the packing and securing of end-of-event items such as gifts and décor, contributing to a seamless guest experience.

This role is perfect for organized, detail-oriented professionals who enjoy collaborative teamwork and thrive in high-stakes, celebratory environments. Joining Leigh & Co. Events means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to making wedding dreams a reality while maintaining work-life balance through flexible contract work.
