Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a rapidly expanding wedding planning company that operates throughout the United States, specializing in creating memorable and flawless weddings. The company has built a reputable brand known for its dedication to personalized customer service and exceptional event execution. With a passion for crafting unique and beautiful weddings, Leigh & Co. Events offers comprehensive services that cover every detail from the initial planning stages to the last moments of the wedding day. As a leader in the wedding planning industry, the company continues to grow by welcoming talented professionals who share a commitment to excellence and creativity in event management.

The Lead Wedding Planner role at Leigh & Co. Events is a contract-based position designed for passionate and resourceful individuals aspiring to excel in the wedding coordination field. This opportunity allows planners to craft their own schedules, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility while contributing to unforgettable wedding experiences. Compensation for this role is set at $350 per project, where planners are expected to dedicate approximately 10-12 hours of work per wedding. Training is provided to ensure all planners are fully prepared and confident in their responsibilities. Candidates selected for this position will have the chance to work alongside experienced client experience managers during the planning phase and assistant coordinators on the wedding day itself.

As the Lead Wedding Planner, you will play a vital role in managing the heart of the wedding day. Your responsibilities include conducting a final details call with clients about six weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations. You will lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal, ensuring that all participants feel prepared and informed about their roles. On the wedding day, you will act as the primary onsite advocate for the couple, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented approach to manage any challenges that arise.

Your duties extend to overseeing the setup of both ceremony and reception areas, adhering to event design plans and day-of execution playbooks. You will coordinate vendor arrivals, direct their setup efforts, and serve as their main point of contact throughout the event. Throughout the day, you will carefully manage the placement of personal and decorative details to create a seamless and visually stunning environment. Supporting the wedding party and family with timing cues and guidance will be crucial to maintaining the flow of the event.

In addition, you will ensure all end-of-event items, including gifts, guest books, and personal décor, are packed and accounted for. Proactively managing and resolving any last-minute issues or changes will be essential to guarantee a flawless experience for the couple and their guests. This role is perfect for planners who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for making once-in-a-lifetime moments truly special. Leigh & Co. Events offers a rewarding career path for those dedicated to excellence in wedding planning, providing both the flexibility and the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive, vibrant team.
