Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and rapidly growing wedding planning company that operates nationwide, specializing in creating unforgettable wedding experiences for couples across diverse locations. Our team is passionate about transforming wedding dreams into reality by offering comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution services. We pride ourselves on our dedication to detail, client satisfaction, and creative event design, making us a trusted name in the wedding planning industry. As a highly recognized company in the events sector, Leigh & Co. Events emphasizes adaptability and personalized service, ensuring that every wedding we manage is unique and memorable.

We are currently excited to invite applications for the role of Lead Wedding Planner. This is a contract position ideal for motivated individuals who aspire to lead wedding events with professionalism and a touch of artistry. One of the highlights of this role is the flexibility it offers, as you will have the opportunity to set your own schedule, making it particularly attractive for individuals seeking work-life balance or supplementary income. In addition to a flexible schedule, Leigh & Co. Events provides comprehensive training to ensure every Lead Wedding Planner is fully prepared and confident in managing weddings from start to finish. The compensation for this role is project-based, with an earning of $350 per wedding, which generally requires about 10-12 hours of commitment. This payment structure rewards efficiency, expertise, and the ability to manage complex events smoothly.

The Lead Wedding Planner will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of weddings. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning and coordination of wedding ceremonies and receptions onsite, collaborating closely with client experience managers and assistant coordinators. You will be the couple's main advocate on the wedding day, ensuring that the event schedule is followed meticulously while also maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach to any challenges that may arise.

Your duties will include managing final details with the clients approximately six weeks prior to the wedding, leading the ceremony rehearsal, directing vendors, and ensuring the design and execution plans are flawlessly implemented. Notably, you will supervise the complete wedding day—from the arrival of the first vendor to the final breakdown after the event. Additionally, this role requires supporting the wedding party and family, coordinating the setup of personal items, and handling any last-minute issues quickly to enhance guest satisfaction. This position is perfect for professionals who have a genuine passion for wedding planning, exceptional organizational skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. You will gain valuable experience and be a vital part of ensuring couples have a stress-free and extraordinary wedding day. The opportunity to join as a Lead Wedding Planner with Leigh & Co. Events means becoming part of a forward-thinking team committed to excellence and making every celebration extraordinary for 2026 and beyond.
