With a dedicated team of professionals, Leigh & Co Events manages every aspect of the wedding journey, from initial consultation to the final moments of celebration. Their commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned them as a trusted leader in the wedding industry nationwide.

The role of Lead Wedding Coordinator with Leigh & Co Events offers a unique opportunity for passionate planners who thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. This contract position provides exceptional flexibility, allowing coordinators to build their own schedules while engaged in meaningful, impactful work. Training is offered to all new hires, ensuring they are fully equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed. Compensation for this role ranges between $300 and $350 per project, based on approximately 10-12 hours of dedicated work per event. As the company gears up for the busy 2026 wedding season and beyond, this role is designed for those eager to contribute to high-profile weddings and build lasting client relationships.

You will collaborate closely with client experience managers during the planning stages to align expectations and prepare for flawless event delivery. Key responsibilities include leading final details calls with clients about six weeks before the wedding to review logistics, timeline, and any outstanding needs. You will also facilitate the rehearsal to ensure all participants understand timing, processional flow, and essential cues, establishing a calm and organized atmosphere.

On the wedding day, you will act as the couple's primary advocate, maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented presence while managing vendor arrivals, overseeing set-up, and ensuring that all personal and event details are correctly placed. You will coordinate closely with all vendors, providing clear instructions and direction to maintain alignment with the event plan. Your ability to manage the entire wedding day process—from initial vendor arrival to final breakdown—will be critical in delivering a seamless, memorable experience for the couple and their guests. Additionally, you will support the wedding party and family with timing cues and day-of needs, packing and accounting for all personal items post-event, and addressing any last-minute changes proactively.
