Established in 1909, ABM has grown into one of the world’s largest providers of janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission-critical services. With over 100,000 team members operating in more than 350 offices across the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM serves more than 20,000 clients annually with revenues approaching $8 billion. ABM caters to various industries, including commercial office buildings, airports, universities, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. Committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, ABM is a driving force for a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable world.
The Lead Valet Attendant role at ABM is a critical frontline position responsible for overseeing daily valet operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals who are new to the workforce or returning after a break, as ABM encourages applicants with varying levels of experience. Veterans and candidates with military backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply, with alignment to several Military Occupational Specialty Codes. The Lead Valet Attendant will lead and support valet attendants in their daily duties, coordinate vehicle flow and coverage during busy times, and maintain high service standards that reflect ABM’s customer-first philosophy.
As a Lead Valet Attendant, the successful candidate will demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and strong communication and leadership skills. The role requires flexibility to work additional hours or provide coverage when needed, emphasizing the importance of a reliable attendance record. The Lead Valet Attendant will be responsible for assisting with directing valet staff to ensure smooth operations, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously, and stepping in to support valet duties during peak periods. This role not only involves hands-on responsibilities but also leadership and coordination, making it ideal for individuals with previous supervisory or valet experience. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions are also necessary.
ABM supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to equal employment opportunities. The organization values diversity, striving to provide a workplace inclusive of all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. They also comply with federal laws regarding accommodations for applicants with disabilities. Part of their employment verification process includes participation in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program.
Working at ABM offers more than just a job; it offers a career path with training programs, professional development, and numerous opportunities to grow within a large, stable company. With a supportive environment and dedication to employee well-being, ABM is proud to be a military-friendly employer and a leader in facility services worldwide. Interested applicants are directed to apply through ABM's official website, emphasizing the company’s commitment to transparent and secure recruitment processes.
