The company emphasizes creating welcoming environments for guests while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Towne Park offers a supportive and rewarding work culture, promoting teamwork, career development, and community engagement.
The position of Guest Service Captain at Towne Park entails orchestrating the overall service experience for hotel guests by collaborating closely with coworkers to meet or exceed the site’s service standards. This role is vital in maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering the highest quality service to visitors. The Guest Service Captain works under the supervision of the Account Manager and is responsible for various coordination and administrative tasks. Although this position is not a management role, the captain is entrusted with handling critical issues and making quick judgment calls when immediate action is necessary. When non-urgent problems arise, the Guest Service Captain communicates the details to the manager and follows their instructions on resolving situations.
Working in this capacity involves greeting guests promptly, assisting with vehicle parking and retrieval, and providing helpful information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options. The Guest Service Captain must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor at all times. They ensure that operational procedures are followed meticulously, including securing vehicle keys and handling cash responsibly. Leadership qualities are essential, as this individual leads by example and may assign certain roles to team members during shifts as directed by the Account Manager.
The role requires physical stamina as much of the work is conducted outdoors and involves substantial activity such as walking, standing, and occasionally lifting moderate to heavy loads. Towne Park values safety and professionalism, so the Guest Service Captain must be trained in wheelchair safety and adhere strictly to privacy and security policies. The position offers an hourly pay range of $18 to $19 plus tips, with a work schedule that spans Monday through Sunday to ensure comprehensive coverage of guest services.
Towne Park provides employees with access to various benefits, including accident and critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity coverage, telemedicine services, and participation in a 401k retirement savings plan, all subject to eligibility based on employment classification and tenure.
