The Valet Parking Unit at Baptist Health Lexington plays a crucial role in offering convenient and accessible parking services to patients, visitors, and staff. Recognizing the challenges that often come with finding parking especially for individuals with mobility issues or those requiring urgent care, the valet service is designed to alleviate these stressors and improve overall satisfaction. The Lead Valet Attendant position is a full-time role responsible for assisting the Valet Manager in coordinating the daily operations of the valet and parking services. This individual serves as a frontline ambassador of Baptist Health Lexington, ensuring that all guests receive courteous, professional, and timely service.
In this leadership role, the Lead Valet Attendant manages and supports valet personnel, conducts briefings, provides training, and leads by example in delivering outstanding customer service. Their responsibilities include proactively greeting customers, addressing their needs with compassion and efficiency, and upholding the high standards set by the healthcare provider. Job Requirements
- High School/GED
- Two years applicable experience
- Valid drivers license with clean record
- Ability to run, be on feet for long periods of time, and be outdoors in all types of weather
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of relevant experience in valet or parking services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and train a team
- Proven customer service skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Assist the Manager in overseeing and coordinating all valet and parking activities
- Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services for patients, visitors, and guests
- Proactively approach, greet, and acknowledge all customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct briefings, training, guidance, and leadership to valet personnel
- Ensure compliance with Baptist Health Lexington standards
- Monitor and maintain the safety and efficiency of parking operations
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
