With over a century of experience since its founding in 1909, ABM continues to be a driving force behind cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable spaces. The company prides itself on delivering essential services that span from janitorial and engineering to specialized areas like parking management, energy solutions, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC, landscaping, and mission-critical operations. ABM serves a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. With a workforce of more than 100,000 employees and operations in over 350 offices across the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM maintains a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
ABM is currently seeking to hire a Valet to join their parking services team. This role offers an hourly pay rate of $23.45, with specific compensation varying depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market standards. The Valet position is integral to providing professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for every visitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating traffic flow efficiently and effectively, assisting guests with parking and vehicle retrieval, and managing the secure handling of guest keys.
This role demands excellent communication skills—both in providing clear directions and procedures to guests and in responding promptly and accurately to customer and team member inquiries. The Valet must consistently uphold safety standards by operating vehicles responsibly and abiding by all traffic laws and facility policies. In addition to managing parking logistics and peak traffic periods, the Valet will also monitor for illegal parking and take immediate action as necessary.
Working outdoors in various weather conditions is a key aspect of this role, requiring resilience and adaptability. Physical tasks include assisting guests with loading and unloading belongings, handling payments accurately, and reconciling daily revenues. The position also involves collaborative duties such as tallying and distributing tip pools fairly and coordinating additional support during busy times. ABM provides a supportive and inclusive work environment where safety and respect for individuals are paramount. The company is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a military-friendly organization, offering employees access to world-class training programs and career growth opportunities. Benefits for the Valet role include a comprehensive package designed to support frontline team members in their professional and personal lives. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be capable of operating both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
