This particular opportunity at ABM is for a leadership role within the facility services team, specifically focusing on valet and parking operations. The position is scheduled for evening hours from 4pm to 11pm, Tuesday through Saturday. This role involves overseeing valet operations to ensure smooth traffic flow, guest service excellence, and operational efficiency. The hourly pay rate is determined individually based on each applicant’s experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with current market data.
The position demands leadership and open communication skills to effectively manage a team and liaise between field employees and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety and operational policies, handling client communications, scheduling, and maintaining a secure environment by managing keys and access cards. Additionally, they will oversee vehicle parking procedures, manage payments, and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
This role requires hands-on interaction with guests, assisting with loading and unloading vehicles while ensuring a friendly, professional demeanor at all times. It also includes responsibilities like monitoring illegal parking and providing additional support to handle peak traffic times. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, demanding resilience and adaptability.

Job Duties
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed
- provide leadership and direction to team members
- communicate effectively between field employees and management
- assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
- oversee and perform operations in assigned area
- manage keys and access cards for the property
- report damaged or broken features and items
- oversee and complete additional service requests in assigned area
- provide training for new hires according to onboarding procedures
- complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees
- coordinate traffic flow
- communicate valet procedures and directions clearly with guests
- respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries
- monitor illegal parking and immediately store vehicles
- interact with guests in a friendly manner
- assist guests with loading and unloading
- collect and secure guest keys
- predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
- identify and arrange extra support for extended wait times
- accurately tally and split the tip pool
- receive and receipt various valet payments
- reconcile and report daily revenue accurately
- project currency and coin requirements and reorder as necessary
- operate, park, and retrieve vehicles safely in compliance with traffic laws and facility policies
- work outdoors in various climates for extended periods
- maintain a clean work area
