The Lead Valet position at ABM represents a crucial supervisory role within its parking management division. This role is designed for a reliable, experienced individual who will oversee the valet operations at an assigned location, ensuring all activities align with company policies and procedures. The Lead Valet is responsible for coordinating daily operations by delegating assignments and providing clear guidance to team members. Acting as the primary supervisor in the absence of the Manager, the Lead Valet maintains a safe and efficient workflow. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $26.00, recognizing that the final offer will depend on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with current market data.

Typical work hours for this role are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. This role demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to monitoring and managing the valet team. The Lead Valet plays a pivotal role in maintaining open, effective communication between field employees and management, routinely monitoring and documenting client interactions to ensure high-quality service delivery. Duties also include assisting with the preparation of daily and weekly work schedules, managing keys and access cards, overseeing traffic flow to optimize guest experiences, training new hires in accordance with onboarding procedures, and handling all aspects of payment receipt and revenue reconciliation.

As a Lead Valet at ABM, you will be expected to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods, demonstrating professionalism, safety, and customer service excellence at all times. The role requires operation of both standard and automatic transmission vehicles, custody of vehicle keys, and prompt resolution of parking issues such as illegal parking or extended wait times. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must pass background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicle transmissions
  • Minimum 1 year of similar work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Minimum 1 year of lead or supervisory experience

Job Duties
