Established in 1909, ABM offers an extensive range of essential services that enhance the environments where people live, work, and gather. With a global presence spanning over 350 offices across the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM proudly serves more than 20,000 clients in various industries including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. Employing over 100,000 dedicated team members worldwide, ABM generates nearly $8 billion in annual revenues, reflecting its leadership and trusted reputation within the facility management industry.
ABM’s service offerings are comprehensive and include janitorial services, engineering, parking management, electrical and lighting solutions, energy management and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical services, landscape and turf care, and mission-critical solutions. The company invests heavily in forward-looking performance strategies and technologies to ensure the environments they manage are safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible. ABM’s commitment to diversity, equal opportunity employment, and accommodating individuals with disabilities is at the core of its corporate values. The company also participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program and proudly supports military veterans as part of its inclusive work culture.
The Lead Valet position at ABM is a pivotal frontline role responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily valet operations at an assigned property or location. Acting as the primary liaison during the absence of the Manager, the Lead Valet ensures that all operations adhere to established company policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This position requires a dependable, organized individual with supervisory skills who can effectively communicate with both team members and guests. The Lead Valet plays a key role in delegating job assignments, providing guidance and training to new hires, managing schedules, and monitoring overall operational flow.
In this role, the Lead Valet is entrusted with the safety and security of guests’ vehicles and keys, traffic flow coordination, and resolving any parking-related issues while providing a courteous experience for all visitors. The Lead Valet handles responsibilities such as overseeing vehicle operations, managing daily and weekly work schedules, coordinating additional service requests, and ensuring that the work environment remains clean and orderly. Furthermore, this position involves meticulous record-keeping including time validations for employees, cash handling, reconciling daily revenue, and maintaining inventory of currency and operational supplies.
Since the role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, the Lead Valet must be prepared to perform duties in an unprotected environment and comply with all traffic and safety regulations. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package to support its employees, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, professional development, and a safe workplace. Overall, the Lead Valet role provides a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a direct impact on the guest experience and operational excellence within a globally recognized company.
