Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors
- Ability to make physical and visual contact with children
- Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe
- Ability to engage in physical activity with children
- Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English
Job Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
- Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Approved state trainer (preferred)
- 2-3 years early childhood education experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors
- Ability to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity
- Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English to communicate with children and their parents
Job Duties
- Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom
- model behaviors and provide feedback
- Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
- Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
- Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
