Job Description

The Child Development Center is a well-established nonprofit preschool located in Southwest Austin. Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and rated as a 4-Star Texas Rising Star program, it has proudly served children and families in the community for over 30 years. Known for its dedication to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment, the Center emphasizes the importance of early childhood education by investing heavily in its teachers, creating an atmosphere where both children and educators can thrive. The Center is committed to providing exceptional care and educational experiences that promote the healthy development and well-being of every child, particularly infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds in its care. This dedication is reflected in the school's low teacher-to-child ratios, supportive education administrators, and collaborative teaching teams, all of which work together to ensure a positive and enriching environment for young learners.

This opportunity is for dedicated, nurturing, and dynamic Lead Teachers for the Infants, Toddlers, and Twos classrooms. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the early developmental milestones of children between infant and two years of age. This is a full-year, full-time exempt position that follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, located in Southwest Austin. The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $63,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This role is perfectly suited for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and seek to create a warm, loving, and safe space for young children to grow, explore, and develop. Additionally, the Center offers competitive benefits that support the well-being and professional growth of its educators, including paid holidays, personal time off, health and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and ongoing professional development. If you have a genuine love for working with young children and want to be part of a professional, positive, and welcoming preschool culture, the Child Development Center invites you to apply and join their dedicated team of early childhood education professionals.
