The current opening is for a Full-Time Dining Room Manager position at the Henry community located at 785 Henry Avenue, Ballwin, MO 63011. The Dining Room Manager will receive an hourly wage ranging from $19 to $22.25 and work a shift schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM. As the Dining Room Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring that the dining room area is impeccably maintained and that residents receive outstanding service. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of resident care and supervision requirements
- Maintain a valid food server permit
- Proficient English communication skills
- Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and falls
- Clear criminal background check
- Good physical and mental health confirmed by health screening including tuberculosis test
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred
- Knowledge of care and supervision requirements appropriate to residents
- Hold and maintain a food server permit as required by the county
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude with a love for residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with mobility
- Criminal background clearance
- Good physical health as verified by a recent health screening
Job Duties
- Ensure the dining room looks and stays perfect and the service residents receive is impeccable
- Greet residents warmly and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room to mingle, entertain, and foster resident connections
- Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware to ensure smooth meal service
- Buss tables, sweep floors, and maintain tidiness in the dining area
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or changes in appetite are observed
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and support after falls
