- experience in food service preferred

Job Duties
- supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations in the absence of the Dining Room Manager
- coordinates the seating of residents and guests efficiently and courteously
- schedules stations and work assignments for wait staff and check out servers
- provides on-the-job training including workplace safety procedures
- records meal counts, reservations and additional charges and uses point-of-sale (POS) system
- confers with Dining Room Manager regarding dining room status
- assigns side-work pre and post shift
- assigns servers to work stations
- serves customers using proper serving etiquette
- trains and mentors other servers in serving and customer service
