Job Description
Grand Living is at the forefront of redefining senior hospitality by creating vibrant communities where seniors can truly embrace life with dignity, comfort, and luxury. Established with a vision to deliver distinctive senior living experiences, Grand Living has quickly become an iconic brand known for its upscale residences and dedication to exceptional service. Each community is thoughtfully designed with elegant décor, luxurious amenities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that nurtures the well-being and happiness of its residents. The company’s commitment to quality extends beyond the physical environment — it is reflected most strongly in its dedicated team members who embody warmth, professionalism, and personalized attention in every interaction.
At Grand Living, the hospitality experience transcends the ordinary by blending sophistication with genuine care. The brand prides itself on fostering a sense of community and belonging, ensuring that residents not only enjoy the finest accommodations but also engaging social activities, wellness opportunities, and tailored services that enhance their quality of life. For team members, the workplace culture is equally enriching, promoting growth, respect, and collaboration within a high-end, dynamic environment.
The Lead Server position at Grand Living plays a crucial role in sustaining this reputation for excellence within the dining venues. This full-time role, scheduled from Saturday to Wednesday between 10:30 am and 8:00 pm, is designed for a seasoned professional to elevate the dining experience by providing exceptional oversight and culinary training to dining staff. Reporting to the Dining Manager, the Lead Server ensures that service standards meet the prestigious Sterling Touch® hallmark — characterized by professionalism, friendliness, courteousness, helpfulness, and timeliness. This role is vital in maintaining high levels of satisfaction among residents and their guests by overseeing multiple dining venues and ensuring flawless service delivery.
In addition to delivering outstanding service firsthand, the Lead Server is tasked with onboarding, training, and mentoring new employees to adhere to Grand Living’s rigorous service standards and operational processes. This includes job orientation, E-Menu training, and continuous education in dining protocols. The perfect candidate is expected to possess strong communication skills, culinary knowledge, and leadership abilities to manage and inspire a team effectively. Physical stamina is essential given the active nature of the role, and a genuine passion for service is paramount.
This opportunity at Grand Living provides not only a rewarding career path in the hospitality sector but also the chance to be part of a brand that truly values its employees and residents alike. Alongside competitive compensation, the role includes an attractive benefits package that supports health, financial security, personal wellness, and work-life balance. As an equal opportunity employer, Grand Living embraces diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment where every team member’s unique contributions are celebrated and encouraged. Join Grand Living and make a meaningful impact by delivering unparalleled dining experiences in a community that prides itself on luxury, care, and inclusivity.
