Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- must secure and maintain Serv-Safe certification
- must be in clean designated uniform during working hours
- must maintain good personal hygiene
- must be able to read and follow simple instructions
- must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks
- must be able to learn quickly and apply principles

- must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects
- must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours
- must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and carry heavy objects for 20 feet
- must be organized and willing to work with others
- must be willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve meals courteously to residents and guests
- clean up and reset dining room after meal service
- supervise daily assignments of servers
- ensure proper training and coverage for servers
- maintain knowledge of all dining room and kitchen responsibilities
- operate basic kitchen equipment
- maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- set tables properly for each meal
- manage server schedules including call outs
- assist in interviewing and hiring lead server applicants
- conduct training for new and existing servers
- post new menus daily and weekly
- oversee seating and timing of meals
- organize dining experience and special events
- assist residents with menu orders and take-out
- provide beverage service
- refill condiments
- report broken equipment or tableware
- implement proper serving techniques
- understand basic food preparation
- practice food storage and labeling
- perform cleaning tasks
- attend staff meetings and training
- address special needs of residents
- assist with tray service
