In the role of a Full-Time Lead Server, Covenant Woods seeks an individual who will act as a pivotal member of their dining services team. This position entails delivering exceptional dining service to both residents and guests while assisting in the smooth daily operations of the dining area. The Lead Server is entrusted with preparing the dining room, supporting catering events, and maintaining a pleasant and inviting dining atmosphere. Furthermore, this role serves as a mentor and leader to other servers, providing essential training on service standards such as American Table Service, sanitation, and safety protocols.
The Lead Server position requires a proactive and personable individual who excels at communication and team leadership. This person will be responsible for accurately taking resident orders, ensuring timely meal delivery, and facilitating effective communication between the dining room and kitchen staff. The scheduling for this full-time role is structured from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., including one weekday off and availability every other weekend, which highlights the community's commitment to work-life balance.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a lead server or supervisory role preferred
- availability to work 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- availability for one weekday off and every other weekend
- ability to train and mentor other staff
- excellent communication skills
- commitment to maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a lead server or supervisory role preferred
- knowledge of American Table Service and proper dining room etiquette
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to train and mentor new team members
- understanding of sanitation and safety standards in food service
Job Duties
- Lead and support dining room staff while providing exceptional service to residents and guests
- train new servers on dining procedures, American Table Service, sanitation, and safety standards
- take resident orders accurately and ensure timely meal service while communicating effectively with kitchen staff
- assist with dining room set-up, table maintenance, catering functions, and cleanliness of work areas
- promote a positive, team-oriented environment and maintain professional relationships with residents and coworkers
