We are currently hiring for the position of Lead Server with a clear pathway to advance into a Floor Manager role. This is an hourly position starting at $14 per hour plus tips, offering approximately 30 to 35 hours of work per week. The Lead Server role is a crucial leadership position within the front-of-house team, reporting directly to the Floor Manager. As a Lead Server, you will have the responsibility to guide and support other servers during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. The role involves delivering warm, consistent, and high-quality service that aligns with the restaurant's standards and brand values.

In this position, you will be expected to take a hands-on approach in managing floor charts, sidework duties, and providing coaching and mentorship to team members, helping them improve their skills and performance. You will have the opportunity to oversee financial operations including handling cashouts, balancing deposits, and accurately closing out transactions at the end of shifts. A key part of your duties will be to promote the Nexus Neighbor loyalty program and upsell menu features to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. This role is perfect for someone who is hospitality-driven with at least a year of restaurant experience, possess strong communication skills, and has demonstrated leadership potential. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is essential, and candidates must be 21 years or older with the ability to obtain or already hold an alcohol server certification.
