Job Requirements
- Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- 1 year prior restaurant server experience with demonstrated knowledge of dining etiquette
- must be able to efficiently multi-task be an active listener and collaborate effectively with team members
- demonstrates leadership skills a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on hospitality oriented position
Job Duties
- Supervise servers in the absence of the dining room manager and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- provide attentive and personalized service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant ensuring a positive dining experience
- take accurate orders answer menu questions and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- ensure orders are served at the correct temperature with proper presentation and accuracy
- prepare and set up the dining room for service ensuring flatware condiments and beverages are always ready
- work collaboratively with residents and other departments to plan coordinate and facilitate special dining events and celebrations
- assist the dining room manager with room service process
- maintain cleanliness of dining room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
